Jen and Rob had a private courthouse ceremony about a week and a half ago. On Saturday, their friends and extended family gathered at the Polish Falcons Pavilion on Round Lake in Michigan Center to celebrate with them. It was hot and sunny but there was a bit of a breeze and the pavilion offered plenty of protection from the sun along with the tall, old trees that populate the property. The kids enjoyed the playground equipment and a few even took a dip in the lake. The party was largely a family affair with relatives of the bride and groom decorating, making the food and providing the music. The bride’s mom made her bouquet and her step-sister made her cake! Best wishes, Jen and Rob for a long and happy life together. Thanks for choosing us to photograph your day. Enjoy your sneak peek below!

A tiny bit of smashing involved but overall they kept it pretty clean.
Such a nice, casual wedding reception. Beautiful.
Liz-
Awesome job, (as always)……I would definitely recommend you to everyone to shoot any event. Your expertise, patience, ability to work with children. This why I keep coming back to you (3rd time) and I will again. Thanks soooo much! I can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures. I am definitely ordering a Mother’s book to treasure forever (and of course a Bride and Groom book for Jen & Rob and….and……)
I must add your assistant was great too. You two work well as a team. Very organized and professional.
A great photographer makes the memories last forever, as if it were yesterday! Thank you, thank you.
GREAT JOB I WANT TO SEE MORE . YOU DO A GREAT JOB WITH THE BOYS . ROB AND JENS PICTURES PUTS THE TOP ON THE CAKE .
Thanks ladies! Such a beautiful day and a very happy couple. Sandi, I’m so pleased that you trust me with your memories. It’s been so much fun seeing the boys grow each year and I look forward to continuing to document them in the years to come. I’ll always remember the morning I spent fishing with T while I photographed him two summers ago. Such fun! Many, many more photos to see once I have them all edited! Thanks again!
It felt so wonderful to see Jen so happy. I am so proud of my daughter and she loves Rob with all her heart. I’m so glad she found that perfect person to spend her life with. I think very highly of Rob and so does Walt.
Thanks Liz! The day was wonderful, I’m glad you were a part of it.
Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures so far! They have always turned out so nice in the past when you have taken them of the boys and I just knew that they would be beautiful for the reception. Thank you so much for capturing the joy, fun, and love that we felt that day! I can’t wait to see the rest! They really bring me back to that day and fifty years from now when I look back at these pictures I know it will bring me back to those wonderful memories. Hope to see you soon… when the boys get their next pics =)
Jen, you’re VERY welcome! I’m very pleased you are happy with what you’ve seen so far. I’ll be in touch when the rest are ready but please feel free to check in for a status update anytime :).
Hey Liz & assistant (sorry forgot ur name),
I agree with everyone that you both rock!!!!! It helps that you are familiar with the kids/family. Although, I believe that u would have did a fantastic job anyways ( as you did on the 1st session with the boys). I appreciate that you could incorporate the extended variation of family that was entailed in Jen & Rob’s wedding reception. Also, Great job working around the “wetlands”!
